About David: David has over 25 years of experience from starting young horses and dealing with horses with behavioural issues to teaching people the foundations of good horsemanship. He has a huge amount of experience working with all different horses and people worldwide, helping amateurs and professionals alike, enabling them to become safer, more confident and competent around horses, thus giving them a foundation to build on, whatever discipline they are involved in or whatever they want to achieve with their horse/s.
His relaxed manner has enabled David’s expertise to be showcased throughout the world at international shows and events, including, to the Dubai Royal Family, at Burghley Horse Trials, Horse of the Year Show, Your Horse Live, The British Horse Society s annual instructors conference and lots more…
In November 2003, David was part of the team invited to The Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace to demonstrate to Her Majesty the Queen.
David believes, it’s all about getting a horse to where they are self confident and understanding of the task at hand. Perhaps it is trailer loading, being shod, or maybe it s being saddled and ridden for the first time, jumping a course of show jumps or going for a hack. The better the preparation and foundation the better the outcome.
The Course: This course is primarily for those that have already had tuition or experience in horsemanship and are looking to develop further good horsemanship skills. The course will have an element of ground skills in the morning and riding in the afternoon and will run over 2 days. Spectators: If you are curious to learn more about good horsemanship and what it might have to offer you and your horse, you are more than welcome on either one or both days, however please try and let us know that you intend to come so we can make sure that there is enough refreshments to go round!. (Cost £25 per person). Participants: Places are limited, and in demand, the cost is £125 per day, booking in advance is essential and a deposit is required to secure a place on the course. For further details please contact us as above. Any further queries please do not hesitate to call.
