This is the contact page on her website www.equinestudies.org/contact.htmlAccording to that she's meant to be in the UK in September... and if she is, depending on the course, I know that Ian would like to go to one of her clinics!

Shes fully booked for September this year but she's emailed me back now and said she can do next September.
HOWEVER - she is a bit of a tyrant. I wanted to do gait evaluation work with her for the EPs and students because KC said she was so good in this field. But it's no good if she just upsets everyone!!
Anyway, we'll see what we can do. She's not mega expensive at all and it would be great to get something together for sure.

"Fully booked for this September" - but are there any spectator vacancies, these are not usually restricted I thought?
Probably just as useful to be a spectator as a participant, particularly the first time.
Dr. Bennett is a very clever lady and you KNOW that the theory is backed up by practical, she does after all see the insides of a horse a great deal. She is a pretty hard taskmaster and could be a little more helpful when the rider is struggling, instead of letting riders work it out for themselves - because what if you CAN'T work it out for yourself and need some advice (speaking from experience!). Valuable nevertheless and the website is a mine of information.

No sorry, what I meant is that she is fully committed for this september. She does an archeological dig somewhere in northumberland I believe.

Hi folks I run her clinics in UK and yes she has a heavy workload in Uk this September at Vindolanda. I hope to run a clinic next September I was just way too busy this year. Last year we lost our venue due to the host having 2 children ill with appendicitis within 2 weeks of each other! What sort of clinics are you interested in? I sell her CD's & books on conformation analysis and on horsemanship.
She is an incredible mine of information and never ceases to amaze me with her boundless knowledge & enthusiasm. She is not an easy person 100% of the time but who of us is? she is like marvin, brain the size of a planet parking cars!! I have never seen her disembowel anyone without fair warning!!!
I would love to have a list of interested people for next year as it is incredibly time consuming trying to explain her to people who don't know of her work. Classical, natural horsemanship, conformationa analysis....quite a broad spectrum!
Regards Pippa

Sorry Pippa, when I emailed her she did not mention anyone in the UK running clinics. Just said she was not booked for next year and what did I want to do.
I have not yet heard back from her.

Not a problem Justine You can deal with her direct she just may direct your enquiry to me if you are in my neck of the woods.
If you can organise a clinic where you are she can liase with you directly but you need about 12-15 people to keep the costs down.
She's not at all expensive going by other courses I've looked at and I guarantee you couldn't get anyone who gives more for your money!!!

Having been on one clinic I might be brave enough for another, although expect to be blasted for not making enough progress and still left undone those things I should be doing and doing the things that I ought not!
So put me down as a possible.
I know some people were a bit unhappy because she talked so much the first moring there wasn't time to ride, and they felt they had brought their horses across the country to ride them and they were standing in the stable instead.
BUT, talk about a mine of information. I agree that she isn't very expensive, as you say compared to some other clinics I have been on (and I am a clinic junkie).
Pippa, do you supply The Conquerers? If so, how much, etc.

I only had a pony on my two first clinics I thought I missed out on too much very important stuff I would happily leave my pony at home because Deb can just cover so many topics. Depending on the participants of the clinic the conversations just get wild. The last one we had a mc timoney chiro so the anatomy got intense, so interesting.
I can't wait to get my paws on her latest offering on bitting and the anatomy of the mouth, neck tongue etc They are having some technical hitches with the DVD's running on UK machines but as soon as that's fixed!!!
She's not that bad, you can usually see a roasting coming she gives fair warning. Who else do you know who has a clinic from 9-5 and then carries it on into the evening meal and starts again before breakfast? She is selfless with her time and knowledge so you have to let her have a personality! She has reduced me to a snivelling wreck but I haven't held it against her as Deb has still dished out more lightbulb moments in her clinics than anyone else I've met and for that I' m grateful. ;D
