Hi,
This has been playing on my mind now for several days, but I am not sure which direction to go in and was hoping for some help and guidance from you bunch of inspirational DG'ers! ;D
I am currently employed full time as a Lettings Assistance, but it really is not my 'forever' job. I'd really like a job where I am doing something worth while, rather than just problem solving for difficult people who's TV Ariel is not working and moving paper from one folder to another. I want to have job satisfaction and feel that I am doing a worthwhile job.
I have been offered Government Funded NVQ/Diploma Customer Service courses from a local company, and my employer is also paying for six of us to complete courses linking to our current positions - I would be foolish to turn them down, but it really is not what I want to be spending the rest of my life doing.
Money is very tight at the moment, but I don't want this to stop me from moving on from a boring job (although lovely colleagues).
I'm not sure which field I would like to move into, something that involves helping people, animals/horses, but I'm stuck as to which way to turn.
Can any of you lovely bunch of people advise where I could gain careers advice from and a good place to study or good home study company?
Thanks in advance for your help. I have to do something!! The main point in this new path is that I have to keep earning, as we have a mortgage to pay and I cannot lump all the household bills onto my husband! ;D
Am I asking the impossible?
