OUCH!!!!! I can feel your pain as I fractured mine this spring. I got a foam seat with a bit cut out of the back from the chemists and it did help when I had to sit down. Other than that painkillers. The first 10 days I found were the worst, and I actually started riding again after 6 weeks full of painkillers but I don't think I would do that again. Hope your feeling less sore soon xx

Sorry, didn't explain myself very well, I was riding after 6 weeks but had to stuff myself full of painkillers to do so, I was only on prescription painkillers for the 1st couple of weeks, but I tried to save some for when I wanted to ride!

Hi, Poor you.
I can recommend Lemieux gel seat saver, I have coccydinia (sp?) basically pain in the butt when I ride or sit on plastic chairs and there are some really useful products on the market that may help you like cushions with a cut out.

I broke mine in may and the advice would give you is don't ride until it doesnt hurt in case you cause longer term problems. When you do get back in the saddle use a seat saver I get the heather moffet one and used it till very recently. Also i was checked out by a mctimoney chiropractor before I rode which was a good thing as my pelvis had been affected by the injury. I'm fine now and back to full health and riding with no pain, be patient and kind to yourself. X
