Just wondered if there's anything you've bought this Winter which you really wouldn't want to be without?
I finally bought a pair of Rambo waterproof, fleece lined chaps in December after a long debate as to whether I'd get enough use out of them to justify the £39 price tag. They've been absolutely fantastic in the sub-zero temperatures while doing the evening haying and are lovely and warm for riding in after the thaw. I even wore them to work in the snow over my Toggi Canyons and only got a few strange looks!

I've bought a pair of Equetech polar-tec jodhpurs which were pricey at over £50, they have only been off me to go in the washing machine! Well worth the investment.

A pair of waterproof overtrousers from Go outdoors for £19. Off with christmas money to buy sealskinz gloves. Hear they are good.
Did you need someone to carry your suitcase specialsparkle3 ?

Last winter's purchase rather than this, but my Tyne Muck Boots. Warm, waterproof, comfortable and suitable for riding in.

I have had a few excellent bits of kit this winter, my Musto ultimate snug jods, I have lived in these this winter and the best jods I have ever got Also a shires full lenght riding coat which has turned me from a fair to all weather rider ;D Petzl head torch has been amazing as I do the evening shift. MTA sealskins gloves had been absolutely fab too, keep my hands warm and toasty even when using them to get the ice out the trough! So impressed I will be getting a second pair for riding.

Derwent Muck Boots. Always had the Tynes so I could ride in them too then got a pair of bargain long-legged leather boots and realised how the Tynes dull my leg aids/sensations. So this year I swapped to the Derwents and they are FAR better for gripping in snow, ice and mud (And toasty feet go without saying, of course.....)

Bought a ski suit at the end of last winter ready for this winter, and a large holed sieve for the water trough which has lasted about 4yrs and needs replacing this week. Need to invest in a pair of scissors which can be used with thick sealskinz gloves on though.
