My next door neighbour at our yard has one and she loves it. it can also be bitless and I *think* you can use it as a cavesson too (not entirely sure on that one) But I read the booklet and it says its been designed so the straps of the bridle do not press on the most sensitive parts of the horse's face

Hi Thanks for the replies so far @ Jen1 Your not far from me !!!! I know what you mean about size, as my boy is a 'full' bridle, but, Ex full brow band !!!! em&ed This was one of the reasons I was looking at it...My boy looks for contact, but, when I say 'yes' he panics He's not a youngster (8yrs), but, is an ex-harness racer ( up to 2007), who has had the last 3yrs of We are re starting him, but, he obviously has 'issues' which we need to overcome as well So, reason for looking at this bridle, as I was also considering bit less, if we can't get him to relax with contact At least I wont have to buy yet another bridle !!!! On number 2 already !!! As he's sensitive around his pole, bought padded second time, but, still have the contact issue
Any more thoughts or experience would be gratefully received

am i not? your not stood out side me window are you?lol , you have to put me out of my misery now, !ive watching them on ebay but they go for a song, my big lanky baby is very sensative behind his lugs so i shall try a sheep skin, the stubben pads come up very short ,i thought they would be good for lead riding ,i shall reserve that bit till i try it, the rambo is the perfect starter bridle in shape for tbs as it misses the sheekbones , like what my tom has, cheek bones i really must learn to type, if you expreiencing contact issues it might be an idea to educate the mouth from the ground with the use of clicker training, my little mare is doing travers half pass and all that jazz from rein aids ,

Well.... Trip to the local Tack shop today for something completely different & couldn't believe my eyes...... The above bridle on sale for less than £100 ;D (It was the last one they had.) So, I'm now the owner of one & having tried it briefly this afternoon, my boy seems happy with it The ability to use it as a cavasson is very useful atm, as, I'm not putting any pressure at all on his bit when lunging, so, he can find his own contact (very loose training reins) & get happy about it without any interference, however unintentional, from me
I'll let you know how it goes
