I'd like to get some rubber mats for Lady's stable but am not sure where to get them from.
I've had a look on the net but can't really seem to find any suppliers. Where did you all get yours from?
Please also feel free to add any advice on what types to get and what types to avoid if you like as I have no experience of them.
By the way if anyone has any second hand ones they want to sell I would be interested if you're anywhere near Oxfordshire.
Thanks!
Anne

I would recommend these mats www.agrirev.co.uk/Personally i have the cow mats, the are so easy to lift and move around as they are so light. They also last extremely well

I got mine from Farmway, our local agri merchant. They are heavy, but they stay still and have lasted really well so far!

I had 5 stables matted by kraiburg. It wasn't cheap but they have a 15 year guarantee and 8 years on still look like new. I think they were £50 a mat and one 12x12 stable takes 6 mats and they fitted them for me

I have just had my new stables built and got my mats from www.horsemat.co.uk - they have a selection and are very helpful if you give them a ring xxx

we got ours from a rubber company on ebay who were selling seconds - mats were absolutely fine with just a couple of surface nicks on a couple of them. Been used for over a year now and are still absolutely fine.

My cowmats from equimat are going strong 8 yrs after I bought them when Flynn injured his tendon - they do only get light use as he's not stableld but has free access to the field shelter where he is. Lovely and light to move from field to field. We actually went to where they are made in Northampton and picked up seconds - they had nothing wrong with them but had Equimat stamped on them but they are cowmats:-) Worth doing if you have a trailer - although we put ours in the back of the car - just!
