Perry Wood will be conducting a clinic at our yard near Winchester, Hampshire during the weekend 22nd and 23rd July. Perry is a fun teacher as well as an experienced horseman. His ability to explain and clarify horse/rider communication enables him to appeal to all levels of students. So whether you want to improve your dressage test scores, perfect your sitting trot or learn how to encourage your horse to pay you more attention, this could be the clinic for you. Rider places are £185 for the weekend including lunch, refreshments and stabling/turnout for your horse during the day. Spectators are most welcome £30 per day including refreshments and lunch. We can offer B&B together with overnight stays for horses at a small additional charge, all on site. If you would like more information do look at our website www.trainequus.co.uk or email Lynn@hazeley.com or call me on 01962712230.

I will come as a spectator - I wish I could bring Toots, but I cannot afford it!
I will need to check the show situation that weekend, but I will definitely be there on one of the days, if not both.

It would be great to meet you both. Spectators do get a lot out of these kinds of clinics

Hi everyone If you are definitely coming as a spectator could you send a short PM so I can have a rough idea how many we are for lunch on each day. Thanks Also one of our riders has had to drop out at short notice so if you know of a rider who would like a place please pass on my details. We are really looking forward to a great weekend, hope some of you can join us. Lynn

Just to say we all had an amazing time this weekend. We participated in some fun dismounted sessions understanding about foot fall sequences, pace and rider position to name but a few. As for the ridden sessions well all I can say is wow. We all gained so much confidence and really applied ourselves to improve our inner communication with our horses and they were so grateful, we had some superb moments. Lateral work, canter traverse and I even began Piaffe on an ex-racehorse of mine, who I was struggling to communicate with in walk. Perry was his usual competent, fun, focused self and made this weekend amazing for us riders and helped us to understand our horses abilities and talents. We will be working with him again so if you wish to come along to be an active spectator or to take a riding place do get in touch. Lynn

This weekend was amazing.. watching Lynn "float" in trot down the school on her TB was amazing! I had a dread that Perry would not live up to the inspiration I got from Real Riding... forget the book, Perry is great fun and motivation to be around in person!
And I was a spectator and felt included and benefited from the whole thing. In fact not riding meant I didsn't miss any of the sessions and learnt a huge amount! The unridden sessions were fun and I will be practising - as I am sure Lynn will be!
Looking forward to the next one. if you are in 2 minds - go!
Thanks Lynn - always lovely to see you all!
