Me too, I hate it! I am having to walk up and down to do the horses, and it is knackering up my bad leg :-( Roll on spring, I hope it comes soon!

me too! My legs are killing, think have pulled my calf muscles, bloody trudding too the train station in my snow boots, and then having to leg it for the train in unsuitable running conditions tonight, followed by another slow trudge back home. on a normal day its not alot of effort! Only thing is, i want it to evaporate immediately! Cant bear to think of the mud *sob*

I had a fantastic ride in the snow this morning. Cantering along the village lanes over about 6 inches of fresh snow, no car tracks or ice and no shoes meant no balling up of the snow in feet. Snow? Bring it on! Yeehaa!

Im so fed up with it - we have ice not snow so cannot ride, havent ridden in 3 weeks. Im upset me and my horse had loads of lessons and come on so well in the school and hacking out - im so worried its all been for nothing, my confidence has gone, he will be a spook monster again, both of us less fit - gutted

although - it has given us a chance ot work on his barginess which my instructor helped us with by showing me how to control him I used ot dread leading him down the icey lane cos he rushed and pulled - now hes an absolute angel, walks as slowly as i do like a little ballerina! Has taken no shouting or nastiness, just a pull and realease on rope - he pulls, i tighten it - he doesnt its released - excellent so im so happy with that. Last year he needed a kemp collar, now he has a very loose head collar and knows im an oldish lady who likes walking in ice pretty slowly lol

Narkymare, you have such a great instructor from what you have told us, im sure it wont be long before your back to where you were before the snow! Feeling a bit down hearted having listened to the local news and weather snow coming in from the west on boxing day *sob*
