Can anyone tell me where i can get a nice warm pair of long chaps that fit short people. I guess i am about 5'3" ish but any that i have found have been really long. I ordered some fleece lined rambo ones as they seemed to be a bit shorter but you would have to have legs like sticks to fit into them. I guess i am about a size 10\12 but these were stupidly small so are being sent back. I tried some of the same make on at Olympia but by the time they fitted my legs (which apparently are large!) they were stupidly long again. All i want is some nice warm chaps so i don't freeze and get soaked when i ride. Well when the snow melts and i can actually ride again!

Get leather/suede ones then cut the length to fit.
I have some and though i havent worn them for years, when i did wear then they were toasty warm and kept you in the saddle if horsy had a wee bucking fit, lol..

I have trimmed about three inches off my suede ones, as far up as I could go without touching the zip. Ive had them for years, got them from Derby House. And as well as being warm they are good for if you do come off as they are tougher and protect you more on gravel, something that the material ones would not be any help with at all. I always get them out and wear them when riding a newly broken one as a sort of insurance policy

Shires do a waterproof fleece lined pair of chaps. I have the small size and am 5'6" but my friend who is 5'2" wears them comfortably and practically too.
I have had my pair for about 6yrs, they are fab. Chuck them in the washing machine every so often. They are so warm and keep me dry all the while, same elastic under the instep, no problems with the zips or velcro.

I've got some suede ones from Just Chaps that fit my stumpy little legs ;D I'm 5'3" and don't have stick legs.
