I had more Xrays today, now the swelling has gone down a bit, and it turns out the knee is actually broken. They thought it was just dislocated and severed from all the tendons, but no. It's broken as well.
No wonder it hurts like a mother******.
I now have to wait for an MRI scan appointment so they can investigate any cartiledge damage.

I know Heather, someone, somewhere, is trying to tell me that I perhaps need a new hobby!

Oh I so sorry.... The pain i had came back to me that moment i read your opening post....
Pity you didnt get the blokes name...... That'l be one night out you will remember for a long time to come.
But now it's found they should be able to help you better and help the healing to get under way. Might you need an operation?

Oh dear, I missed how this happened, but in any case I'm really sorry for you. I hope you heal well and are back to some form of mobility again soon. <<<hug>>>

You poor thing, breaks are so uncomfortable. At least they are taking it seriously though and referring you for an MRI - that's good going for the NHS at the moment, by all accounts! I was thinking of you today, I have just driven close by you, been to Sawbridgeworth and back.
Nowt for it but rest rest and more rest. At least Rhythm is a baby and time off won't do him any harm at all, he can concentrate on growing! I'm sure he'll remember what he's done so far.

Oh no, that really sucks! I really sorry. After all you've been through with Master Snip. I hope he looks after you as well as you've looked after him!
Out of interest what is broken? Do they mean bone or cartilage/ tendon/ligament?
