Hi Guys I would love some opinions on Abbie's conformation - good or bad, but make it polite Just for nosyness really! Its the best photo I could get of a fidgety 2year old that had got bored of the grooming malarky. She is so well behaved though, all my Mums hard work. Her feet a due a trim!

If I wanted to be immedeate I'd say a nice close coupled horse and perhaps not the greatest quarters, but I know all my young horses looked like donkeys at two, so she'll probably be stunning!

I like her topline and the fact that she s short coupled. Nice hock angle and her front is higher than the back so should be uphill. Good length of rein but slightly straight in the shoulder. To me, and Im no expert, her foreleg is her worst feature. She looks a little back at the knee but it could just be the way she is stood. A trim of her toes could imprve it though

I agree with Donna in the main. Her quarters lack a little length from hip to croup, but she will improve as she matures all over except unlike a hind leg which can improve with age ( for me her hocks could do with being a little more " let down" and her second thigh could be stronger ) a foreleg doesn't and I'm afraid she is very back at the knee. However to say she was an "accident" she's turning out to be pretty nice on the whole
