Greetings! Thought I'd start this and see if anyone else wanted to add their comments. Had a brilliant time last week on the foundation course and can't wait to get back around some horses! Have booked onto the Psychology weekend, but have to wait till November for that Had a great time with you all last week and of course the great teachers (horsey and human!) at Ian's. The office seems a bit dull compared...!

Hi all,
Felt a little lost on Saturday after such an amazing week. Thank you to everyone for making it so special.

Sounds like both of you got bitten by the Hartsop bug ;D I know when I did my five day was quite literally a life changing experience. Its a fab course eh? Lisa - there's quite a big crowd of us IHers in Surrey so shout if you want to come along to the meet ups/socials etc

Hi All,
I was on the 5 days just the week before you. It was an amazing experience. It was lovely to meet so many like minded people in one place and to share experiences and ambitions. Lisa, where in Surrey are you, I am in Epsom. Maybe will bump into you at an event/social gathering one day:-)

I'd love to meet up with you guys! I sort of left the course feeling a bit "erm, what now???". I don't have my own horse and I've found you need to be a bit careful raising this topic with some people! I'd love to know if you have any ideas of any IH-friendly riding stables. If there's an opportunity of meeting up for a meet up/social that would be great. I live in Addlestone and work in Guildford, so just let me know when and where...!

IH friendly riding stables are scarce round here but if you are a happy hacker Poynters in Cobham is very natural in their keeping of the horses. We always need a hand with our place too, so maybe we could meet you and have a chat about that. Our website is www.horsepower.org.uk. And socially I'll let you know when we're getting together next.

Hi, I was also on the course 1-5th May and wholeheartedly agree with Lisa and Philippa. Big thank you to everyone for making it so special. Isi, I guess you must have been on the same course as Ashley, who stayed on to help with our course.

Hi Lisa, I'm also from Surrey - horses are near Gatwick - we must arrange a Surrey/sussex get together. I've never been able to make them in the past

Me too - I live in Weybridge and run an IH friendly livery yard in Ripley, near Guildford.
It's a few years since I did my 5 day foundation course, and yes it opened up a whole new world - and was a start of a special relationship with my mare, who I had with me on the course. Since then, I've done a bunch of other courses as well - you get smitten!
