On Saturday 30 September we will be holding a "Test Ride" day for Total Saddle Solutions, formerly know as Ansur Treeless Saddles. All three models will be available to try on your horse, with expert fitters on hand. We have indoor and outdoor arenas plus safe enclosed farm hacking so you can really put these excellent saddles to the test. For more information about the saddles go to www.totalsaddlesolutions.co.ukWhilst visiting the web site take the time to enter Total Saddles current competition. You could win a saddle of your choice, competition ends 30th September. We are easy to find between J 47 and 48 of the A1, just south of Boroughbridge, N Yorks Please call me to book your ride as places will be limited. Sarah Dent 07709 743208

What the weight limit for these treeless saddles? (I worry about weight distribution...)

There is no weight limit. If the horse size is appropriate for rider size there is no problem with saddle fit. However with a horse that has underdeveloped musculature there may be need to increase the use of the balance pads to ensure that the spine is bridged. Weight distribution with the treeless saddles does not cause us a problem, infact taking away the tree and using the best trauma absorbent materials on the market only aids to protect the horses back.

We have ours now (Freestyle), I have gone from being able to sit on Seamus for 5-10mins in the school (in tree'd saddle) to going on a 40minute ride outside (in Solution) - I have a real bad hip, It is really comfortable.
It must be investigated.....or Trialled!!! ;D ;D ;D
