i was at work today and started a poem for honey. Was very patchy but between joanne and I we finished it and here it is.
Your thundering hoofprints in my heart
As you thunder down the lane, i see the wind blow through your mane. suddenly you stop to have a glance, then snort and stamp and start to prance. your thundering hoofprints you left on my heart, will always be there, will never depart.
You were always there, but now your gone, though you leave behind the light you shone. everytime i think of you so, my heart will always start to glow. You carried me through the toughest days, and always brought a smile to my face.
I remember you full of zest, but now you have been laid to rest. sleeping quietly in your place, you left your daughters to carry your grace. We owe you the world, you owe us nothing, you will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
was very hard to say good bye, but my heart will never lie. You saw my pain, as i saw your war, now run free, no pain, no more now run on over to rainbown bridge, and rest in peace my beautiful honey.
