I would like to know what I will have to do and if there are any courses I could take to become a horse whisperer ie working with problem horses that are physically or emotionally damaged. Thanks for any replies.

Hullo, I think if you go to the main site you will find all the detials you need to train in Kelly MArk's course. Otherwise the answer would be as much (sympathetic to horses) training you can get - theory and practical. Good luck!

Hello
There are lots of routes you can take to work with horses who have problems, there are those who work as behaviourists and therapists and many who work as a behaviourist not only using training but also holistic therapies as I do.
Consider if you would like to be a trainer what methods you are interested in, look into the options you have open to you of which there are many. If you prefer to work with positive reinforcement there is clicker training, if you are interested in an approach which covers behaviour, bodywork, groundwork and riding then TTEam is well worth considering, There are the IH courses. If you search on the interenet there are also a lot of individuals running veyr good courses also.
Whatever you choose it is an evolveing path but seriously considering what you are looking for will help you to make the right choices - how do you want to train - how do you feel about gadgets, free shaping, what are your current comcepts and beliefs, how can holistic therapies influance behaviour? how much behaviour is as a result of physical discomfort or emotional traumas so other than training methods what therapies may interest you (there are so many Equine Touch, Shiastu, sports massage, aromatherapy, spinal therapy, craniel scacriel, iriodolgy, trimming, - all these and more can influanance a horses behaviour...)
I hope this gives you some ideas
