Well, in my case, I have a chilled out, old cart horse of a boy who is so relaxed and happy not being ridden. I can fling his rugs on, he's always with me when I'm around the yard nosing up my back (they can come to the yard if they want to). I'm a stunning, quick mucker at this point, no whining any longer and finally the ground is frozen enough not to be damaged by their hooves, so I can keep them in my small paddock behind the house. Archie is clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Poo picking is loads easier - frozen solid!
No mud!!!!!!!!!!!
The view across the fields at the yard were brilliant this morning - all white, trees like they'd been dusted with icing sugar - just really pretty.

Arizona has clean mud free legs. Beautiful, magical scenery. Lovely watching the horses playing in the snow. Its a change to the rain, rain, rain which is quite enjoyable.
