Don't know, it's such a bad pic and has caught him standing in a funny position and with eyes half closed! legs therefore look odd to me. Sad doesn't necessarily jump out at me but a better pic for conformation peeps and from other angles etc. would help.

Looks better in the summer pics than winter, but looks poor in the winter pics and very lacklustre. (mta Looking again I think they are all the same time of year, the ivy in the trees confused me!)
Also one of the pics looks like a laminitic or footsore horse walking to me. Without seeing in the flesh it's hard to tell, but I'd definitely want more condition on. Looks uncomfortable in the ridden pic and I wouldn't have put a pic up of him pooing!

It's a rubbish photo which makes you wonder about the person selling. Unknowledgeable? Actually, is that a word.
Certainly looks a bit poor, but that could be a lack of muscle.
The eye does look sad...but could have blinked at a camera flash.
Stable looks TINY and not very clean.
Overall, it doesnt present a happy pictire. But it is a snapshot in time, so its hard to know.

oh ok, more than one pic! lol dopey me. Lol me too!!! I only saw the one in the box! Is it me or do the back legs look odd ie. straight? Hard to tell about fet without moving but the pony does stop and stand in some funny positions. Looks quite poor to me as well especially in the muscle development department. I'm carp at conformation though. Overall pic is not right and yes a bit sad and sore? Just looks to be contorting itself to try and find a comfortable way to stand and move. Looks better with the rider up! Oh and standing with front feet back under is one sign of possible LGL btw I believe.

It's amazing isn't it... that they would put those up? I'm intrigued as he looks 'all wrong' but I don't have the experience of some of you, to say what it is.

As said the photos are awful he does look weak and a bit poor but basically I think the description at odds he certainly does not look cobby and with a lot of bone He would with muscle and work and of course a bit more weight look like a different horse. If placed after January 1st he could actually be a newly backed three year old rising 4 which would explain his lack of muscle

It seems to me like he looks like that all the time, the photos are taken at different times as his mane gets longer and shorter.
I just want to scoop him up and take him home with me, poor little lad.

He does seem underdeveloped and lack lustre when he's being worked.
But I wonder if some horses just have 'that eye'. I've got a grey cob with a mellow expressive eye, and usually looks sad when he isn't getting his own way, ie not being allowed to break into the feedroom or being asked to go for a walk.
He is into everything and pretty bright.
