Anyone ever tried the Sprenger Bow Balance Stirrups? I have the system 4 stirrups, I love them and have bought a pair of bow balance but no chance of using them in the next week (snow) Want to know what they are like in comparision a bit like peeking at christmas present before christmas!

I had a thread about this a few weeks ago which might answer your question. Hope the link works ihdg.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=ght09&thread=101324&page=1I have settled for the Heather Moffett ones which arrived this morning. Unfortunately i did not get much chance to try them out today after a 5 minute ride and then deciding it was still slippery!! Blooming weather!!

I have a pair of Sprenger Bow Balance Stirrups, and wouldn't use anything else... although have turned to Western now so they don't get used anymore - I'd highly recommend them for anyone with creeky joints!
PM me if you want to make me an offer for mine...

Much easier on the riders joints, less concusion. Very difficult to ride in fixed irons afterwards.

My OH bought me some for xmas. Mind you with the weather I've only ridden in them twice but they feel fantastic and my ankle doesn't hurt.

Thanks everyone i've used the old style sprenger stirrups for years and love them they made a big difference to my knees.
When I do get riding again I may well be looking for a 2nd pair Jen.
