Just thought I would share this . I'd cycled to the yard one day and wondered what my pony would think of my bike. I needed to fit new lights , so took the bike to outside her stable. She watched with great interest while I fitted the lights , so when I finished I took the bike right up to her door. She wanted to have a close look but couldn't reach over the door. I lifted the front of the bike up to her so she could reach. It was hilarious as after she had a good sniff , she started to play with the front wheel ;D. She was using her top lip to spin the wheel and the more I laughed, the more she did it ;D. Another day I had cycled to the yard , I was taking her out to the field. She saw my bike parked against a wall and wanted to go for a look. I took her over to it , let her have a good look , then started gently moving the bike back and forward beside her. She was perfectly happy with this so I then pushed the bike a little around the yard , with her quietly walking alongside on a long leadrope . The yard owner was laughing. He said she'll want to go on it next ;D. Oh , and she has met motorbikes at the yard too and behaved in the same cool calm way , both times she was keen to have a look , and even happy to stand quietly beside them while the engine was switched on and the engine running . Here are a couple of pictures of her meeting a bicycle for the first time . .

Very good - but watch out for that rearing bike: It's a bad habit you might not be able to break!!!!
