I stripped them off today and Flynn had a good bomb around trying to convince the old mare to play. Notice the 'naughty' eye. He hasn't been ridden for over two weeks now and is so relaxed and happy in himself, in every night stuffing himself and very chilled indeed. I think we'll dump lone hacking for a month or two when he's back in work to keep the stress levels down. Lesson booked for my birthday. ;D Attachments:

I'm sure 'down time' is good for many horses. Good luck with the lesson.

Well, I must say, not riding gives you a chance to watch them in a different way doesn't it? Thanks all. He's such an easy horse to keep. Not a good doer, not a bad doer, just right.
