My shetland Ernie has a new Headcollar and a Bag of treats and his new stable so he's not outside in the cold because a livery has pinched his stable! Harley has a new Bucas stable rug, headcollar and treats Ollie has the same as harley plus trying some Extra flex HA for him. I gave their other stable rugs to my mum for 2 of her old broodmares so it was a good excuse to buy them a stable rug that fits in my horse washing machine!! No wonder I'm always skint! But i'd rather buy them something than me!
Liveries will get Carrots in their Christmas breakfast and one of the youngsters is getting a new little girl for christmas but the girl doesn't know yet She'll get the passport wrapped up on christmas morning.

Here here Jenny B, mine got (me) a nice vets bill and aggravation to boot and (she) got a new rug and I got grumpy face and teeth!!! So no, they are not getting anything (ok Bronte might get something because she hasn't been to the vets or given me teeth ) but Nancy is getting nothing other than her 4 weeks rest and medication,

i think for all the sleepless nights, wretched journeys in bad weather and all the love, affection and attention we give them THEY should be buying US presents!!!LOL!!! But of course we do it all because we love them, and dont expect anything more than what they already give us in return (apart from those 'bad' days!)

Our yard all had a stocking from Ruldolph with an apple, carrot, banana, polos and a hoof pick in, plus of course the personal letter!! I also bought another light weight rug for Shadow (not strictly Christmas) which I may wrap up so my daughters can upwrap it on the day for him

Saffy got a wormer Not my idea to worm the poor beastie on Christmas day but it did make my Christmas morning when it only took seconds to worm her - she has been awful to worm in the past, rearing or just nodding so I couldn't get the syringe near her mouth The time before last I started using advance and retreat, took a long time but she stayed calm, last time I did the same and wormed from the right hand side instead of the left which is the side she's always been wormed from and this time I went straight for the right hand side and hardly had to use any advance and retreat because she was so good. So not a great present for Saff but it was for me ;D Mum has got polos for Saff and Duchess but Saff won't eat just after she's been wormed because she thinks she's been poisoned

Carrots and a tub of treats. Jay had a new turnout rug but she got it early and trashed it within 2 days so it didn't even make it to christmas good thing it wasn't a really expensive one.

As a YO I do stockings for all the horses on the yard. So all 23 had and apple, a carrot, a parsnip and a tin of guiness, there were also a pair of thick socks and a chocolate lolly for the owners.
My horse will be getting a late Christmas pressie of a new feed bucket as he sat on his one too many times on Christmas Eve and it has split from top to bottom!
