So time to 'fess up - what have you bought your horses for Christmas! I admit it, I fell for the large tub of horse treats with a lovely big red bow on it. I have rationalised it myself as they are herbal and so must be good for them.... I'm such a sucker! So go on, admit what you've bought for your equine friends

PMSL, after spending over £4.5k on vets bills and treatment this year for his ligament injury, and fighting tooth and nail to get £3.5k back from Petplan, he can be content with that!! I buy him things year round whenever I feel like it, he has no concept of xmas so I don't bother with a gift.

They always get treats from Santa and they do seem to enjoy a drop of beer in the Christmas dinner Spoiled? Never!

I sympathise Jenny, my boy got a shiny new plate to hold his broken elbow together . He'll get an extra parsnip on christmas day but he's blown his budget for this year

More hay, more feed and a kiss on the nose. Oh, and my New Forest ponies brought all their mates round this morning so I threw them a party with a buffet.

Mine have 5 packs of sugar free polos each, they don't have sweets all yr so these will last them a few months - LOL - Must admit shop assistant gave me a dodgy lot when she saw my basket filled with polos.....

Sarah can just see the Newfies round the gate, gate crashing the party!
Well she was supposed to have a Nuumed girth sleeve, but gone back to Nuumed to be replaced by custom made one as didn't fit.
She'll get carrots in her tea.
And all my requested pressies are for her - airflow numnah, hoofjack and fleece rug. Oh dear forgot me!!!!!

Mine is getting a martingale after X-mas when everything cheaper, simple because I don't want to bit her up and need a bit of extra control when jumping and galloping Oo and to stop the saddle slipping

I've got some rosehips for Bailey. He's really greedy with them so I save them for special occasions.

A new stable rug from Olympia.
I did buy him an advent calender - but he was unimpressed with it and refused to eat it! The year before that, I brought him a hanging likit - which terrified him to death and he refused to go near it, when he was finally brave, it moved and touched him by accident and he resorted to bucking around his box in terror at it!
Next year, I might not bother.
