Friendly One Eyed Cornish Farm Cat needs a home

Does anyone have room for a friendly, young looking, black female farm cat with one eye?

My vet son, who is now working in mid Cornwall, asked me to put this up in hope that someone might have room for this rescued cat. She lived on a farm until recently. She was taken on by a vet visiting a farm as she had a badly infected eye but the elderly farmer could not afford treatment. Her eye had to be removed but she is making a good recovery and seems a friendly girl. She`s at the vet surgery and looking for a home. Ideally on a farm or in a yard.

She could be collected from the practice or could be brought to my place in the New Forest (Hampshire) at Christmas when my son comes home for a few days. Son and girlfriend are not allowed pets in their rented house. I will take her as a very last resort, but she would have to get used to being on house curfew every spring/ summer like my other cats, as we have swallows who need protecting.

A happy update to this one. A friend of one of the vet nurses at the practice is going to give Daisy a home. She has apparently become a lovely cat and is growing in confidence, so she should make a good pet. She is doing well with her remaining eye. :-)
