Have had an account for ages - well over a year but only just got around to introducing myself ..... I have a totally gawjus big and fluffy Clydesdale ;D He is my pride and joy (literally). We do some groundwork, some hacking and a little bit of jumping all for fun - although he wouldn't agree that any of it was fun except the jumping He seems to have had lots of issues - sweet itch, trouble with mites in his feathers, rubbish bare feet - and although they are really improving, it's meant I've had to learn loads since I bought him 2 years ago after a break from horses while having children etc. We live in Bucks, so I see I'm in good company - will have to catch up on old posts and see who else is about. So, that's me and the BFC!

Hi and welcome to you and BFC. I love hearing about big fluffy horses a pic would be lovely. I was born and grew up in Bucks - are there still lots of bridleways? This is a great site for info and advice - have you seen the recent thread about mites?

If you have Photobucket, simply copy the web link and post it in the message.
I'm sure I've posted some photos of "my" Clydies somewhere....
