Hi Guys, The cheque was for a whooping £3,200!!!! They were so very grateful, I want that Filly too, she was so very beautiful, so gentel, and poor little darling had been through so much for someone so young, so unfair not only had she been starved but she had been tried to be used for breeding!!! can you believe that, poor little love.her name was ellilouise! so sad to hear some of their sad stories, there was one chap that they had rescued who had lived in a stable with no turn out at all for two years! and his food had been chucked over the stable, it was so sad to hear his sad story of his past he had so many vices weaving and windsucking you name it he had it, but with lots of TLC and plenty of company and 24/7 turn out he was learning to overcome his past. so many sad stories, heartbreaking, but so lovely that there is people and places like Jenny and team at SWHP to help rescues these poor horses and ponies.
Also which I was unable to get a photo of him but there is an old chap who is 16 hands high, I forget how old he is but he is old but beautiful, he had a hock problem, and because he is so very big and can't be ridden none wants him. and they desperately need to find him a home because they might have to have him pts because none wants him because he is so big and old and can't be ridden and none wants him. so if there is anyone who can offer this old dear man a home? please get intouch with SWHP Love Vxxx

Yes, me too. I can understand for extreme health, but not just because can't be ridden. Do you know if they've been in touch with Redwings V?

Just to clarify, because V is away today, I think i am right in saying that the old boy has been with them for sometime whilst looking for a home. They are hoping a home comes along but its not subject to any idea of him being pts - that would only be a health deterioation (sp) matter in the extreme as Kas says.
I think V was hoping to 'pluck at your heartstrings' !! lol. I know that she wanted to bring them all home with her !!!

Isn't it wonderful to know where the money will be going and how much all the fund raising everyone did is going to help all those beautiful creatures. As with all charities they still need money to keep going and doing the brilliant job they are doing. Isnt it just a beautiful place with such stunning views? Thanks so much V for going on a long journey to personally hand the cheque over on behalf of us all. eileen x
