So I'm riding Shropshire all on my own then? Can I just stick to S Shrops please (more hills ?! I know for a fact there are at least 2 other DGers within 5 miles of my yard..... We'll have to get Basilhorse out and riding by May then!! Happy to ride (assuming I have a sound horse and none of them have gone to stud), but don't think I'll be able to help with any/much organising as around that time work is going to suddenly get very, very busy and stressful before they kick us all out for good But might be able to help work out some routes - circular or straight - if that would help?

You do realise that, according to Laura's calcs, this means you have to cover 200 miles I somehow think I'm the only DGer in the for miles around me, poor ol Nita doesn't realise that we're going to have to do a Octomarathon.. maybe I should start a "Save Nita and Ride for the DG campaign"

No problem Well, on Ash maybe (as long as she's allowed to snack all the way round) - Shantih and Shefali would pack their bags and take themselves off to stud if I threatened them with 200 miles

I'll get in touch with Miggy... she might be up for it, too, and she already does long rides....

I can help out in Cornwall in one shape or form, can ride if you would like me to. I'm 20 miles from Plymouth, so the top end of Cornwall, rather than the dark depths!

OH good so I can put Karon and her heard down for 100 miles each and Julz and Miggy down for another 100 each.. Highlands doing remarkably well so far (Easter Ross is the East half of Ross-shire.. peninsular between the Cromarty and Dornoch Firths effectively.)

LOL Zuzan, I'd love to but I think all of mine would then decide it's a good idea to go to stud Rash isn't backed yet, I'd have to lead her for 100 miles
