I just wanted to share this. Having relatively recently embarked on my IH journey, it never ceases to amaze me how powerful these techniques are, not just with horses who trust us....
Last weekend I drove over 200 miles to collect a pure bred connie and her stunning foal. She didn't know me and hasn't had a huge amount of handling. Surprisingly, the owner was not about to see them off ( I know. Don't go there!!) so I was left to load them by myself and OH who is not horsey at all!! Using IH techniques, both loading as taught by Kelly on the 5 day course, and foal handling as taught by Ian VdB, they loaded without any stress for either mare or foal and travelled home calm and settled. This was a situation that could easily have been very different as anyone handling mares and foals will understand, especially as the mare is in foal again.
Thank you again IH for teaching these methods and making life easier for these horses.
