Not sure if i'm in the right place but nevermind. got a few showjumpy shows coming up over the next few months on Rena. Anyway not sure wether i'll plait or not, i do for endurance just straight down plaits and they look good, not sure about proper plaits, i plaited her today and thought she didnt look awful, she does have a bit of a ewe neck on her tho, dont want to be like one of these folk that seem to be tryint o make there ponies look like big fancy things. So thought i would get opinions. I think i might plait, but really not sure, would be good practise for me if i did They look messy here, 2 hour hack in rain Not most helpful pic either...actually awful pic but wat do you think, do they make her neck look terrible? edited...seem to have forgotten how to put pics up

For showjumpy stuff I dont think it matters too much, but would make her look tidy. If you were to show her, you would sit the plaits up a bit to make her neck look a bit bolder (if you see what I mean) Dont forget the forelock ;D

Are you being funny?? Sorry if your not, think it's just that SO many people ride with bl**dy roundings on a pelham - which completely defeats the object of using a pelham Nice to see someone using a pelham the way it is intended to be used.
