He'll be better by then! Unless he goes on to complete the hat trick and get Cushings, which is I think where he's heading

I'd hate to agree with you having never met him, but judging by your findings so far, I think you are probably right

Well, he still has a tiny bit of winter coat So yes, I'm pretty convinced that's where he's going, but TBH he's on such a tight regime it shouldn't be a problem for a few years so long as we can keep the laminitis under control. He is now being 'worked'--does a short walk count as work? ? He's as happy as Larry because he gets a bit of grass while he's out. It probably undoes all the good the walk (well, passaging sideways snorting and trying to herd me towards the green stuff) does, but by the time we've increased the walk to a few miles I think it should counteract the bit of grass. I'll be happier when the school hols are over though, there are kids everywhere and they keep wanting to stroke him....then he tries to eat them too

Argh, it's because they're little and squealy and flap and jump about. I don't know how *any* horse puts up with the average child. I'm sure if we found a nice quiet one JJ would be fine but this is a touristy place here and all the brats are holiday so they're sugared up to the eyeballs, have been confined in a car for hours, then they let them out on the seafront for a run about and the little monsters are totally out of control

Very interesting Also exceedingly expensive He stiffened up today....very swollen muscles and tried to boot me for touching him, so not a happy bunny really. He cheered up by this evening though so hopefully we're winning He also discovered today that the occupants of puschairs can squeak and squeal. He has never really understood pushchairs, so unexpectedly discovering they had living occupants at all made him fall over himself and do rather a lot of prancy snorting
