:-/Hello, I was very unsure about dong this but you all seem friendly (maybe a bit mad too, but that's a good thing). I thought you'd all be teenagers (scary) but glad to note a few slightly more mature members.
Two and half years ago I took the plunge with a friend and we bought a horse, Poppy, to share. Have always wanted one, now in my forties and can't believe I now have two. My friend sold me her share of Poppy a year ago and now I have also bought Rory who shared Poppy's field and came up for sale.
Poppy is 15'2 Irish Cob (was hogged, now full mane and feathery legs to keep her warm in winter as has to live out year round) Rory is 14'2 Fell cross. It was a hard decision to go it alone, especially as I had to give up the stables and live out but thanks to a great share with someone it is working well. But I'm hating this weather. Will try to post pics but have no idea how. Is it like facebook?

Welcome to the forum, Mojo - I'm not so sure about maturity, but there are plenty of us who haven't been teenagers for quite some time now! Re. posting pictures; what you do is to log onto Photobucket, and open an account (which has a user name and password). Once you've done that, follow the instruction on their page to upload photos from your computer to their site. Once your pictures are on there, if you run your cursor over the picture you want to post here, you'll see buttons giving you various location codes for that picture. Left click on the 'IMG Code', and the relevant code is highlighted in light blue; then right click on the highlighted code, and it opens a small menu beside the picture - move your cursor onto this menu, and click on 'Copy'. Then compose your thread, and 'Paste' the IMG Code into your post. You won't see the picture at that point - just the code. But, when you post your new thread, and open it - TA-DAA!! Your pictures, in all their glory, will appear! If you get stuck, just ask on here for advice - some kind soul will help you get going - just as they did for me. I've not really got to grips with all this techno stuff - steam engines are more my line . . . ;D Best regards, Jack (aka Ned Ludd)

Thanks rifleman. I'm surprised anyone gets pics on here -it sounds complicated but I'll give it a go. Love your coloureds by the way. We share a field with a 3 yr old blue eyed baby - I'll try to get pics of him on too.

I do feel useless. I have successfully uploaded a couple of pics to photobucket but have no idea how to get them on here?
