They are normally in 5,10,15 and 20 mile distances.
Run by Whaddon Chase Pony Club and local Endurance group.

do you need to be in the pony club or re they for anyone? would love to do the 5 mile on Dan to get him out and about but no transport yet. we are planning on changing the car and getting a trailer for this summer though, so maybe another time.

No you don't have to be a member hdonna:-) They are advertised in our local what's on in the parks booklet and open to anyone. There is another one in August.

It's £10 for the ride adn you get a rosette and medal if you complete in teh correct time
If you phone teh number Louise gave in the first post they'll (Nicky) send you an application form.
Also, don't look at the Cromwell Endurance website cos they are listing the ride for 28 Mar - it is definately on 22 March!
Nicky says that the Pony Club are starting to do Endurance properly so it is likely that this will be used to 'launch' Pony club Endurance and there might be lots of equine press interest on the day

I don't know whether the pony club are going to be organising Endurance or whether they are just going to be 'tagging' on to exisiting Endurance events - worth asking?

The Pony Club Classes will be part of the EGB Ride. If you are interested in doing Endurance via the Pony Club either contact the Pony Club themselves or the National EGB Office Look at www.endurancegb.co.uk If you are in the New Forest Area there are Pony Club Classes in the "Silver Gambler" Series of Pleasure Rides. There will also be Pony Club Classes at the EGB Ride "Rufus Ride"on April 5th For schedules contact Val Wright at 25 Middleton Road, Ringwood, Hants BH24 1RN
