As my wife tells people you can use Reiki for all sorts of things, most of which sound a little weird to me, I thought what is there to lose? Reiki works on cuts, swellings and burns, like a charm and people tell me my wife isn't always as spooky as she seems, so when the tap by the stable was frozen this morning, I thought I'd give it a try.
I took off my gloves and stood on the icy ground and held my hands over the tap. My hands got very hot instantly and then I put them on the tap. After just over a minute, water started dripping from the tap. I left the container filling and moved on to the other yard.
If you're attuned to Reiki, give it a try.

Over the years, I have taken an eclectic view of what you can do with energy, or use it for. My son, a Taoism and Qi Gong follower, used to use his energy manipulating skills to warm his feet when riding his motorbike. The Oncology Professor in the Vienna teaching hospital in 1998 treated Chemotherapy medication, so that patients had no side effects, so it seems there is a lot that energy can be used for other than healing people and horses. Added to that, my Reiki Master in Slovenia in 1994, told me never to put my hands directly over anyone's ears as some people's hands get very hot when sending Reiki.
If you put some of these influences together, then sending Reiki to a tap to warm it up, makes sense, might just work, and it seems it did. Grayson adds that he also imagined the sun as a fireball too.

If you're attuned to Reiki, give it a try. I have actually been tempted to use Reiki on the taps at the yard but wimped out in case it didn't work Having said that I was quite relieved when the tap right near Duchess & Saffy's stables froze because at least it stopped people getting water all over the floor and creating a serious ice slick!

never thought to try it for that mind you the heat that is generated sometimes is a fair bit , never thought it would be enough for a frozen tap.
