Well since I got back into horses this year I thought I'd try to track down a couple of the horses I had in my teenage years. Delmour was a 15.2 TB gelding, I had him from when he was 6 to 11 years old. Sadly I got news from Weatherbys today that he passed away just last month Del and I did loads! he was my 1st propper horse and we both loved to show jump, we even affiliated and did an awfull lot over the years together. I loved him to pieces even though he could be a handfull, and we eventually gave up on hacking through fields as it usually resulted in Del stretching his legs.... and me having no say over speed/ direction/ when we were stopping! Here his is when I'd had him for about 2 years attending a local show, we had entered the 3' and 3'3" classes and came 2nd and 4th RIP fella

It's hard to think of them having gone. Looks like a super boy there. Sorry for your loss.

Cried my heart out but think it helped my get some other tears out too that had been held back.
he was a super star, jumped out of his skin and grew a good hand every time we entered a show jumping ring! we had our rough times but we had some bloody brilliant ones too.
Now I just have to break the news to my folks, they loved him too.
