For anyone else who suffers from feeling like an ice box ( even indoors ) can i just say that thanks to Snugglejods / Rhillahorse and Louise C, i am as snug as a bug in a rug ... all day. Yes, even at the yard on the coldest of days (yippee) ;D I can now be seen sporting my new Muckboots ( nice warm tootsies ) and my seal skin gloves ( not made from Skins of seals ) so i have nice warm hands. One thing though: Must get used to the feel of the gloves as i was handed a nice hot cup of coffee by my lovely sister, only to let it slip straight through my gloved hand So ok, i am a snug bug with a few burns, but thanks to you for the recommendation. In fact, if anyone is going on the February tour this year, i defy you to buy both of these and not come back saying you weren't lovely and warm all evening. The gaunlet is laid down

You actually don't realise until you have these products just how difficult day to day yard routines were before, do you ? I think even the horses enjoy a good head rub from the gloved hands as they have the pimply bit as well !

I can't imagine life without my muckboots, they make winter that bit more bearable. I definitely need some Seal Skinz gloves though - my hands throb with pain everytime I have to soak the hay or move it around when it's wet at the moment!!!

Thanks for the seal skinz gloves tip. I froze today! It's my birthday in a week so I will add it to the list and drop some hints to my other half.

I have an OH who dunks the hay in the water (and gets it out and hangs it up) and breaks the ice on the water troughs.
I am truly spoilt!!!
