I have to say they look like they will benefit enormously from it. Even if you decide its not for you in six months time the hooves will improve no end.

gosh barefoot will deffo help
well done for macking the decision it will be a long road ahead but i am sure rio feet will be so much better

Well thought would be a good time to do it, haven't been riding much with the evenings just being bitterly cold I just haven't been able to bring myself to do it! so its no harm if she needs time off. Also our Field layout has just been changed so she no longer will have to walk across tamped down hardcore to get to the field just concrete out of the barn then onto grass

Hope it goes well, definitely think Rio's feet will benefit from going barefoot. I had Duchess' shoes taken off in May, just after I bought her. So far it's going well apart from 1 small abcess just after she went barefoot. She's nearly grown a complete new hoof down now & you should see the improvement!
