The sheepskin ones look gorgeous! But do they get heavy and soggy if you ride in the rain?

my concern is the pressure across the spine, appears to be no spinal/wither clearance so all the weight is in one place. i did have a slightly heated discussion with a bareback pad lady at badminton once. the saddle was flexible from pommel to cantle (you could bend it in half for easy storage (??!!!) ) and i just wanted to know how the pressure was spread in this case. she even admitted that it bent in the middle when you sat on it, yet was insistent that the weight was spread evenly. to me the weight was all in one place, where your seat bones were. she kept skipping round the answer and telling me it was flexible, never actually saying where the weight was distributed have to say the sheepskin horse dreams one looks so comfy, have seen them a few times at big shows but the price tag was a bit scary!
