Has anyone ridden at the Old Vicarage Activity Centre, The Bull Ring, Stottesdon?
Myself and some friends are in the Ludlow area between Xmas and New Year and were wondering whether to go out for a hack or not. I could only find the Old Vicarage - it is a BHS approved centre so the horses should be fine - but wondered if anyone knew what the hacking was like in the area - would much prefer off road.
Cheers
Louise

I don't know anything about the centre, but the hacking should be good if you go over the Brown Clee.

Hi Louise - for gods sake come and say HI - Ulla is field liveried there!!!!!!!!!!
The hacking is fabulous - loads of off-road stuff (although the tracks nearest the yard will be muddy at the moment - if you choose a longer hack then you'll get onto some less used ones). I've only ridden there once - rode a TB that's too much for the general clientele and no-ones riding her, so took her out whilst mine were off work. Had Quiz there on box rest for a few weeks too. Horses are your typical riding centre types generally - lots of nice cobby types and totally bombproof in traffic. Unfortunately, as Ulla is retired, I can't come with you, but you must pop in for a cuppa ;D
