Has anyone had a horse of unknown past, been given information about the horse by other people, may it be an old owner or someone else, started to look into it and wondered about it? Like the breed of the horse? or how the horse behaves about certian things and how they would fit in to the past?

Yes I have... Lots of people were telling me about Harly, A few people off here now him and what the old owners used to do to him. And its no wonder he turned out to be like he was when I got him. But thankfully now he goes from strength to strength every day and is trusting more and more people.. ;D

Ive been given my horses history, but have been wondering about a few things, and whether a few bits of info are fantasy or fact

A friend recently told me when going to look at a horse 'listen to all the owner tells you , then forget it all'! A very cynical view and not always correct but worth bearing in mind!

I've had my horses for 15 yrs - I KNOW why one sppooks at wheelie bins - and looks into parked cars. Why the other one canters down steep hills!. I know MOST of why they do anything. I KNOW when I can sit there being relaxed - when to be ready (not tense - just ready)
Its serious fun!
