Went out on a hack this morning down the lanes where i live adorned in my high vis which comprised of, High vis exercise sheet, High vis Boots, tail guard, neck strap & nose band. I was wearing my high vis waistcoat with flashing red lights. It wasn't particular bright out it was quite gloomy & raining & my horse is dark bay. Anyway i have to go through a big farm on my ride & they where unloading calf's from a trailer. I didn't really think anything & carried on round the block. On my way back i could see them reversing the pickup & trailer around & i thought they had parked up. OH NO, as i was coming up to the pick up truck both farmers come out & got in & then proceeded to drive straight out of the driveway with trailer on the back completely cutting me up!! The Driver then stopped & said to me out the window " OK we get it we can see you, Your going to kill people wearing all that rubbish you've virtually blinded me". I couldn't believe it & said back well i have to wear it because of driving like you, i then said Merry Christmas & went on my way. Why did they have to cut me up like that also really mean nasty people!! Good job my horse is brilliant as the racket they where making getting the calf's off was bad.

Bah humbug to him - what a miserable g!t You can never have too much hi viz - I'd rather blind someone with brightness than be invisible and get hit by them.
