My palomino is spotless--a bit of woodchip on his ears, possibly, and the pony is absolutely gleaming (though very soggy). It's at times like this that you realise that INsulin Resistance and the No Grass policy actually does have an upside!

I wanted a Bay, i keep telling myself a good horse is never a bad colour but i'm just not sure about poo stained mud splattered off whitey yellow, its not a good look! I went out with a friend dog walking this pm, the 3 of them decided to wallow in a bog.. my black dogs do seem to be a more practical colour in this area!

Hmmmmmm......I went out to do the horses in cream trousers this evening (all my other trousers were soaked, in the wash, or drying!!!!). Forget what I said about spotless palominos--just one trek down the garden and into the paddock and I was CAKED up to the knees!!!!! Obviously my neddy has a knack of keeping clean that I don't have
