:(ive been feeling really low recently due to alot of things which i wont go into, but i have not been able to spend much time with the horses other than cleaning and feeding. i have been very frustrated and have become snappy and emotional about everything (REALLY BAD)....it looks like i will have to sell my young filly :(ruby) and i may even have to give up dets if my health n finances dont buck up.....im hoping things will improve soon but until it does im not sure what to do?should i just winter the horses out and give them a total holiday until spring and see what happens or sell ruby now and take the pressure off so i have more time for the others? i would like to say that i am also overrun with rescued cats and just dont have the energy anymore nobody wants them im stressed and feel really ill the drs are meant to have sorted me appointments out and alsorts but they havent im feeling worse and i think they think im just being daft...now im rambling but u get a sort of idea........

Oh Troop, it does sound like you've got quite a lot on your plate at the moment. To be honest if you can avoid it, I wouldn't be making those kind of decisions whilst you are feeling the way you do. Just in case you go on to regret it.
Wait until a clearer day and then take a long hard look at things and make some decisions from there instead. Hope the sun shines on you really soon xx

(((((((((((troop))))))))))) when you don't know exactly what to do, the best thing is to change nothing. Give yourself 24 - 48 hours and think hard. Giving the horses a break might be better than making a decision to sell which you might regret. Can anyone like Circus Dancer help out regarding the cats? She seems to have lots of contacts. xx

Sorry to hear you are feeling down. ((((Hugs))))
It sounds like you have got so much going on and the pressure has just got to you. Now you feel like you are about to snap and can't cope. I think you need to take some of the pressure off. Give the horses a holiday as that will help give you some space.
As for the other things, take a step back from it all and deal with one thing at a time. The docs wont think you are being daft, it is their job to make you better so keep going back until they do. If you are not happy with your doctors help can you try another for a second opinion?
I hope things start to improve for you soon. x

thanks i was in touch with someone about cats but was to far away to do anything.2 cat shelters have let me down and the rspca just wanted me to let them go.3 are sort of feral but they have been fed since kittens so havent got a clue about fending for themselves and i have tamed 2 of them.to be honest if i felt better and didnt live right on a main road where people hate cats i would keep them all....i think maybe i will let the horses go to a nice winter field and just chill for a bit. but troop still not keen on ruby and i have to keep seperating them unless he murders her and having them at home means i can keep an eye out butr i am just so so tired.....i never used to hate getting up in the mornings but im just dragging myself about its stupid.....im sure il pick up soon thanks for support.xxx

Definately don't make any decisions until you feel well enough to make the right ones. It's not worth it, and it's definately not a good time of year to be selling either. Let the neddies have a holiday and do what you can when you can. The Docs round here can be exceptionally useless. Unfortunately you'll just have to keep on at them until you get some sort of answers or treatment. It's not ideal when you feel rubbish anyway though, is it Poor you. Hang on in there

Firstly, I'm just coming out the other end of a period like this and I second that you should try to avoid making any big decisions at this time!! You could either winter out or get helpers.
Also, did I read that right? Did you say the RSPCA want you to just set rescue cats free!!! Whereabouts are you? There are some places I know of that might take them, PM me if you like. Would the Cats Protection League or whatever they're called not help?

All the best Troop. This rotten weather and that post Christmas lull is always a downer. I'm sure you'll start feeling more positive and know that you are a valued member of the board and we really do care.

troop just to say before xmas i was stabling my horses and all i seemed to do was muck out and spend no time with my horses, they are now living out and loving it and i have more quality time with them and feel loads better for it, so i would definately recommend trying them out before thinking of selling as for the cats couldn,t you see if any yards want any for mousecatchers sorry can,t be much more help

(((((((HUGS TROOP))))))))) sory your feeling so out of sorts at the moment. sounds to me like you are depressed, have you got a docs appoint yet? re the cats, is there a Cats PROTECTION LEAGUE PLACE NEAR TO YOU. THEY HAVE GOOD SUCCES WITH REHOMING FERAL CATS AT FARMS NEAR TO ME. oops sorry, caps lock on. as for the horses, turning out for a while and letting them chill sounds a great idea. Look after yourself, and remember were all here on this DG for you.
