Can anyone give me any other ideas please? The horse I ride is learning how to school at age 11. She is a Gyspy type cob and is lovely, She is trying but does not understand.
Yesterday and the day before we were doing brilliant and thought I had turned a corner. ;D Now today she walked and troted on right rein easy, her good rein. But when on left rein napped in and would not stop. Tried circling when doing it and then when failed, have but obstuctions in the way down long side to stop her from coming off the track. She barged through them.
Am placing leg on and whip on shoulder to keep her on track. Tap her lightly if tryes to come off track. Turning head into oposite bend too.
Suggestions please.
Feels like 5 steps forward and 10 back.
HELP! ???

Has she had back, teeth, tack etc checked recently Melissa? I would be ensuring it wasn't pain related first of all.

Checked sight has saddle fitted by saddler recently, back ok, teeth done within last month. So all physical things are fine.
