So I have the pony, now I just need to know what to do!
We are hoping to do a qualifier in a couple of weeks, though if he hasn't settled enough we will give that a miss and show when he is ready. He's been to alot of county shows as a foal and yearling, so he knows whats to do, it's just me that is totally clueless!
Please may you give me some advice on:
1. What I should wear? We'll be doing M&M small breeds and possibly youngstock.
2. What should I show Honeyblossom (Hector) in? He's a two year old gelding. Would a flat white show halter be correct? We are going to Great Yorkshire next week so will buy what he needs there.
3. How should I turn him out? He is in great condition already so should I just keep him well groomed and just show him naturally or put some show shine on him to enhance his already fairly shiny coat?
4. How do I show him? Any tips or ring craft advice would be very much appreciated!
Thank you so much! I know it is alot of questions, I just want to do it right with him. He is such a beautiful pony, I want to do him justice.
xx
