This DVD set of 10 DVD's includes 9 hours of classromm instruction and 7 hours of live trimming. Cost $250 and imo worth every penny. (especially with the euro exchange rate!! ) Can be purchased from Petes web site from this link.... www.hoofrehab.com/underthehorse.htmThis is a meaty set of DVD's and not for the faint hearted. The classroom DVD's are excellent...............full of research based descriptions of hoof function and pathology presented in an easy to understand way. The trimming videos are facinating and include maintanance trims of barefoot horses as well as trims of over grown and laminitic hooves. The sections on Foot development, Navicular and 2 DVD's devoted to laminitis are especially interesting and really help in understanding how the hoof works. Diet and environmental effects on hooves are covered as well as personal anecdotal stories from Pete. This is a set to watch over and over again.........I needed to to absorb all the info. It is a great reference set and I highly recommend it to all horse owners not just 'barefooters'.

~Faint~ I'd forgotten about this, but have a pile of new books & DVDs to get through after an Amazon splurge. Are you trying to bankrupt me? Have you got the KC ones? If so, how do they compare?

No I haven't got the KC ones...............I was going to get his book but it's so expensive, well should I say it seemed so when I was first researching trims. Someone was going to lend me it once!! ;D Hopefully someone has seen both. I'm off to try and find out about KC's now.
