Hi
The Behaviour of Horses - In relation to management and training by Dr Marthe Kiley-Worthington ISBN 0-85131-688-3 A very in depth book and helpful for anyone studying equine behaviour/psychology, or just very informative on the general behaviour of horses in the wild and domestic environments.
The author is a very experienced horse-woman and has her own animal behaviour consultancy.
Well worth a read!

That sounds interesting. There's quite a lot of stuff from this Kiley-Worthington. She's some sort of grand old lady in the equestrian world, eh? I'm foreign so I don't know the background. It would be nice to have an updated horse behaviour book as there has been so much progress in animal psychology recently. Were there any big surprises in the book? Like, what was the greatest revelation for you when you read it? Did you find explanations for things you had encountered with horses? Just give a couple of examples, it's always so nice to read about other's experiences .
