Found out this information today, I never realised this was happening!! I thought that it should be known that the ingredients of Prempak-C, Premarin and some other non synthetic HRT treatments contain Equine derived Estrogen. This is one of the worst cases of animal abuse that is still going on in places like Canada. see this: www.equineadvocates.com/premarin.htmlI would never use any drug that uses the barbaric method of obtaining any ingredients. So ladies please think twice when you next take HRT, is yours Equine derived? There are synthetic ones available. I could never condone anything like this, gives me a hot flush just thinking about it"

Well, yes, but I think it is pretty well publicised. I for one was warned not to take HRT or any kind as it increases the chance of breast cancer. I have a family history of this.

Apparently so although I have never heard of it! Perhaps though that it is only in this stage of my life I am looking into all of this or taking more notice!?

Am I right in thinking that Oil of Olay use these disgusting ingredients too?

I'm not sure if Oil of Olay use it but they and many others are tested on animals, I can give you a definite list if you like
