;D. Our new boy arrived yesterday . He was full of those awful flies, has badly twisted back hooves from neglect but he is absolutely adorable! He has been bathed (in a good insecticidal shampoo), wormed and our great blaksmith has started the first stage of sorting Sultan's feet out. Considering all the fuss he has been so good. He loves carrots and mollasis lick (treat/bribe for his first ever encounter with the blacksmith). He has never been in a field so we are looking forward to seeing him enjoy his first day in the field but we are waiting to make sure he has unburdened himself of any nasty worms. Sultan loves kisses and im sure he is enjoying all the attention. His next door stable mate (and travelling companion) is the blanket spot dun who was rescued by our friend stephanie-he is also doing very well.
I want to attach some pics of Sultan but im not sure how to do it-can someone advise please?

He's very handsome!! Did he come with his Percheron 'Haras' passport? In any case, this website might be of interest to you www.percheron.org.uk/

thanks we are so happy with him hes 18 months old and settling in nicely, we have already fallen in love with him. Hes walking a little better after getting his feet trimmed but it will still take some time until they are right. He has full percheron papers (all french so cant understand a word of it) but no passport. thanks for the link i will have a look and thanks for all the lovely comments, its nice to have support from people with a common interest. Brugee is gorgeous! so handsome a travelling companion! Totem the spotty bum is doing great he also had his feet done, but is a little food possessive at the moment, but im sure he will get better when he is trusting.

He is stunning, i think mine was on that lorry to (i had the palomino breton) As far as i can tell mine hasnt been out either. and luckily doesnt appear to have been naughty with any ladies! (vet says his 'boulders' are not mature enoough ) hehe Are you keeping him entire? Has he been a bit nippy? and does yours want to eat everything like mines does? lol Well done, ps what was the mark on his head? (did he not have blood on it in the pic from france?)
