Ohhhh... forgot to add.... if your Bretons are anything like mine (well... Podge and Solly1) then you wont be needing to worry too much about rugs! Podge destroys anything other than an old fashioned canvas New Zeeland (which he just about tolarates when it gets below freezing) and Solly picks holes in them all!!
Bert however has a very fine winter coat (he does honestly believe he's a TB) and demands a rug! Gibus is poorly, so is rugged to high heaven! They all live out 24/7, with a field shelter though!

lol bless bert, one of my welshies is like that paws at the gate till she can come in her warm stable (she has he thickest coat on the yard, everyone says 'omg i've never seen a coat like that' and 'is that a polarbear' lol ) He doesnt have any swelling and the vet is very impressed, took him for a walk and let him have some grass (he sniffed the concrete and didnt know what the grass was lol but after i showed him he loved it hehe) Had a bit of a scary moment though, my pal left a box with carrots and stuff init near his stable (out of reach as there is boards blocking him) but he removed the boards and managed to grab the box (he is seriously cleaver ) scary part was sifting through the bed to find the knife that was missing (not injured at all) ummmm anyone know how to keep a huge baby (very strong) amused for more then 10 seconds? He is such a little thug, my other pal gave him somewater this morning held it for him he grabbed it from her and try to soak her (luckily missed) then after emptying the water threw the bucket ps tried swedes, hiding stuff did use this ball thing but he kept stamping on it lol He has really taking everything in his stride heather! im quite amazed he is so lovely (and cheeky lol)

nope t'was not smelly smelly big bum that did it, Got some very good news tho I had his feet trimmed today no bother YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! (such a relief!!!) Bless he was an angel!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYY He's going out on saturday! yay!!!! although we did have one hiccup, the vet had to re open and drain his bits as they swelled massively over night and nothing gross what coming out come out so thats good the swellings gone down and his returned to normal (well his normal, water melons to most lol) Also a guy (well a friendly dealer) come down and couldnt beleive how stunning he is and didnt stop talking about him, much to the yards annoyance HAHA (im so bad lol) and he has made a new friend (a guy on the yard) who goes to see him everyday with apples and has even said 'he's the best horse on the yard' LOL
Bertie do you have any more pics? Sorry i just love seeing them!!! Hope everyones ok. Nicky x
