Horses left in Dept 41 There will be more of course but as long as there are still mares in foals, chances are a truckload will be sent to Italy… 4 trotters, all thin; 1 chestnut mare,02,gentle. 1 chestnut gelding,04 1 bay gelding 04 Also,1 heavy type mare,04 1m40 and 1 pedigree selle francais mare 1m50 Pony – free to good home because he is a wobbler – photos 4 and 5 X Connemara – 1 yr old Will be 1m50 approx Wobbler so can never be ridden. Owners don’t want to send him to a ‘dealer’, would rather find him a good home. Gentle and well handled. Used to have trouble getting up, but ok now. Juipter, 10 yr full pedigree ‘cob normand’ Over 1m75 Very kind, ridden and driven 1100 to 1200 euros, maybe negotiable 4 trotters of which certainly 1 mare – maybe more. Photos and more precise description not before sunday. 7/8 yrs and more Can only leave in 2/3 weeks: One mare with foal at foot – photos 1 and 2 10 year old mare with a foal has a microchip and is identified Height : 1,30 metre Price : 641 euros without VAT (mare AND foal) The foal is not identified (no paper) Can be seen in the département 41 Given name for now : "Zoreille" – photo 3 11 year old mare Height : 1,40 metre Price : 686 euros without VAT Can be seen in the département 41 I have been told this mare is VERY pretty but also much more nervous of people than the others. She would be a great project pony. Nervous but hasn’t tried kicking etc.

I would be interested in Jupiter, so hes not at dept 41? Anymore detail of where he is and I can look into it a bit more, I'm happy to bring another over a week or 2 after Rose and others get here.

Jupiter is in dept 41, just a few kilometres up the road - they could get him there by monday - so regarding time scale he could leave on the lorry monday, for further info regarding that you'll have to ask Sarah how to contact her transporter. The mares are the ones most at risk as the French abattoirs probably wouldn't take them... but only in 2/3 weeks time.

She can't travel on Monday and she was really a bit too 'unhandled' for the person who had planned to take her. I've been told she's a real little gem though and just needs time to get used to humans being OK

Oh Jupiter is gorgeous. Wish I was in a position to be able to take him. Can't say enough how amazing it is what you are all doing for these poor horses. Always brings a tear to my eye.

May I add that for anyone interested - Gordon Hamilton, horse transporter is offering a bit of a deal to anyone wanting to rescue one of these guys. PM me if you need contact details. He gave me the price of £235 incl. to collect from dept 41 and deliver to me near Bournemouth. Good luck guys

Do the owners of the pony actually know what will happen to him if he goes to these dealers? He would be better off being put down than going there, how can they even consider it?

PLEASE READ BELOW ((( i have just emailed this to nearly every person at the ILPH envolved in the tranportation campaign hope it works - What do you thik?)))) Hi Im not sure who to email regarding this however i have been following the Area 41 Story on the (Monty Roberts) Intelligent Horsemanship discussion group www.intelligenthorsemanship.co.uk. I like many have been really touched by this story and many of the horses have been bought from france and brought over to live with members of the Intelligent Horsemanship. I have really wanted to help, but have been unable to due to the fact i just bought a youngster in May and already have another horse and work full time , there was one horse that won my heart (Pic Below) Isant she just beautiful.? Basically this is my idea to try and help as i have been following the story i know that not many people from the Northwest seem to be aware of this so i thought to heighten the awareness in the area , i would offer to the ILPH Penny Farm (as i live in blackpool) that i would buy the Horse Named Zoirelle whos is 686 euros ex Vat, if they could home her at the ILPH she could be the mascot in the North West for this cause as im aware your due to do a campaign shortley. I would spend as much time as i could helping to raise money for her rehabilitation as she is very nervous of Humans, surley due to the treatment she has received, then if needed i would take her on when possible to free up more space for needy horses. I would also spend time with her to help her trust humans and give her , her life back. What is also sad about this story the last rescues from france there were approx 6-8 horses brought back to the uk and Zoirelle was supposed to be getting re-homed by someone in france but as they dont have enough experiance to help her she lost her ticket out of the Fattening Farm! Please Help , if you could get back to me or put me incontact with the correct person i would be grateful and im sure Zoirelle would. Here is a link to the website so you can read all about the brilliant people who have rescued the last lot of horses from Area 41 France ihdg.proboards91.com/index.cgi?board=persfundMany Thanks
